Default Shake down passes

These are from Friday, busted my tail all week to get the car wired and plumbed so i could run it this week. Have not tuned it yet, but it is a 6.0 with the Trex and carbed. Needs allot more converter and i have not pulled any weight really.

It is a 80 coupe with the 85/86 nose i wanted. TH400 with a revmax 4500 converter, 3.73 gears. This is one of two converters i have got from them, they work but their stall speed sucks and i am not going to send it back for a restall and play that waiting game for 200$.

Could not see the shift light and out of 9 passes, i think i only had 1 successful 1-2 shift.

Here is a couple from the stands, the video is not great because he didnt wipe the lens but it sounds fantastic.

Reduced to 3 inc from 3.2 collectors, X pipe and the small race bullets dumped:

Have plenty left to do before i put the nitrous on the car, hope you guys enjoy.

I have always wanted to do a Chevy fox, but never had the motivation to buy all the pasts. I got this from a Htownracing member for a grand, came with a AJE K member, so i got their mounts. Came with a ton of suspension and other goodies, it was too good to pass up.A big head start. The crap part is that i am going to have to run a spacer to keep heat out of the carb, so i am going to have to get a hood or some scoop. Sucks because i really liked rocking the stock hood. LOL.

Not to jack your thread or anything but can the 4.6 motor mounts be used with the stock k member? Your car runs strong btw!

No idea, but aje k member used sbc,Ls,sbf, bbf and modular motor mount options with their mounts.

K member spacers might give you the hood clearance you need....that's what he was saying.

Thanks Duy, I have nothing invested in this thing is the best part. Selling my AR for 1600 covered most of the cost. Lol

Now, if only I can get half as fast as you!

Took her to the scales and she is roughly 400 pounds lighter than the 89 RS was. This is with me in the driver seat, i am 320 pounds. This is with the 10 gallon cell full as well.

The RS was 3450 with me in the seat.
