Yep. The weight and gearing show on the car. It also has a lag from the factory once you go WOT. I'll post up that race as well when I get back.

It was a fun time. All cars ran great. Survived with only one ticket on the car and the car averaged 19 mpg through the city/highway/deals gap..

On the way back, I'm averaging 26 mpg varying between 80 and 90 mph.

Does not look like the new Vipers are any faster than the 08-10.
Hitting 5th at 140, and the z06 pulls 4th to 160+.

The 08-10 were a tiny bit quicker than a stock C6Z. The 13's are quicker than the 08-10, because they are about 100 lbs lighter and geared differently. The new Viper has 3.55 gears, the previous cars had 3.07 gears. So, they are now geared better for the 1/4-mile. Not so good for high mph highway pulls.

I think my car did pretty well against a very fast C6Z, considering my car is completely stock. I don't know of too many stock cars that could keep up with a C6Z pushing almost 600 at the wheels. Gray has whipped all sorts of cars in his Corvette.

And, I'd still rather have the Viper. No matter how much slower it is
