***LMR tune picks up 25rwhp on another texas shop's H/C/I Z06***
Car came to us from another texas shop, customer had complained it just felt under powered. After looking at the tune that was in it we saw we could definitely improve on some power. Ended up picking up around 26rwhp over the previous shops tune.
And just for comparison. Here is a graph of this car (Ported heads/ Cam/ Fast102/102) vs our Reaper without a fast 102/102 (Yep stock manifold)

Yes that was gray's car. It had a stock intake manifold and throttle body. It had our proprietary cnc program done on the heads. Picked up 35rwhp on just the head work

We just tuned it, it was built by another shop so i couldnt even tell you if i wanted to.
Ill update the other thread right now.

So 2 different shops, 2 different dyno's, 2 different tuners with one "might" be tuning for the life of the engine and the other tuning to put up a good number.
But who am I to judge but if the previous owner had a issue with the power he should have went back to shop A vs. paying shop B (LMR) another $400-$500 for a new tune.....

I think it says different shops, different tuner, same dyno. I haven't heard of LMR blowing up any motors, so I guess you got the last part of your statement correct. Just an observation...
I'm just saying why brag about this when there is so many factors that play a role in a dyno. These shops can make a dyno read whatever they want it to read. I just find it funny that a person pays $800-$1000 for 2 tunes.
The car was brought to us for drivability issues mainly (kept dying, bucking, lazy throttle response etc) that said previous shop couldnt get right after multiple return trips. The pickup in power was just a bonus.
It's a different dyno than the one that it was rolled on when tuned.
Not that LMR tuned it on the ragged edge or anything nefarious like that BUT the facts of the testing being far from scientifically accurate (far too many variables) remains true.
Damn, not a fan of Tim but I have to agree with him.

That is a good comparison, you all are picking this apart when Steven stated the car came in because of very poor drivability, and idle issues. The extra power was just a bonus. Tim go back over to Htown we miss your welching on bets ***.
Cars end up in DFW all the time needing a tuning change after leaving a Houston shop.
