If its a legal issue of kidnapping etc, the authorities should be able to track that number.

If one parent removes the child to a second or unknown location, the purpose of which is to deny the custody or visitation of the other parent, even without a standing custody decision, it is considered parental kidnapping. In such situations, while warrants for the arrest of the absconding parent and the return of the child are being issued, the left behind parent will also be granted emergency custody.
If your spouse takes your children without your permission before you get a court order, or keeps them and fails to return them as promised, you still have legal remedies. One parent cannot thumb their nose at the other and claim they have an equal right to the children. It is a crime to take or keep children maliciously from a parent who has a right of custody in many states. This applies when the children are taken by a parent who has a right of custody, if done without good cause and with the intent to deprive the other parent of their right. This law gives you the right to go directly to the police and get help without having to go to court
Whether or not you have a written order, your spouse is subject to the Federal Fugitive Felon Act if he or she crosses state lines in violation of a felony child-snatching statute, once a state felony warrant is issued.
If your spouse takes your children out of the state, your attorney goes directly to the district attorney for nationwide assistance. The federal Parental Kidnapping Prevention Act applies to all interstate custody disputes, not only child snatching.
The court is immediately available if your spouse takes your children. Your attorney will prepare your sworn statement and a proposed order seeking appropriate assistance, and have a judge sign it within hours. Your spouse must be served with a copy to be bound by the order, but the police will do it when he or she is located.
I would wait 24-48 hrs, if she has not returned, contact your local authorities expressing concern about the welfare of your children.

My ex did the same thing, I got the authorities involved, I now have the house, both kids, and the whole nine yards. She got her car out of the deal. Now she wants to come back, dumb b#tch. Call the cops, and file on her.
Any of the pay online services can do it if it's a cell that is actually registered or whatever to someone. That's how I busted a secretary in my old office who was using personnel files to set up credit cards in several different names. I think it cost me like $60 ten years ago but I just billed it back to the company anyway.
Call the Cops!
Doesn't matter what the issue is between you and her, or some outside party.
But at least when the cops get involved you kids will have the best chance of being in a safe environment.
Call the Cops for your kids sake.

She came by where I'm staying at 11pm to get her stuff and when I told her no she called the cop on me lucky they sided with me and time her to leave. Well the next day I gave her some lil things to get her off my back and to see my kids.

- Start recording all of your phone conversations (completely legal in the State of Texas and admissible in court).
- Meet only in public and bring a friend (so she can't say you intimidated her / physically assaulted her).
- NEVER EVER EVER go to her friend's house and step on their property. In our state they can call the cops on you and fabricate whatever they want and you will get hauled to jail and slapped with a domestic violence charge. If you're currently active duty then you can get in a LOT of trouble with your command. If you're a civilian you can get a record and lose your right to own / purchase firearms.
- Start supplying her with goods / items for your children, but DO NOT give her just cash. Buy food, clothes, and any other items they might need. Make a copy of the receipt and have her sign one copy that says she received it.
- Above all, keep your cool.
You're a man in Texas and everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) is stacked against you when it comes to divorce / custody battles. Your best bet is to come off as the innocent party who is trying your best to remain accommodating and agreeable. Been there, done that. Twice. I've got the scars and credit card debt to go along with it, but I have a very good custody set-up with my first ex (so much so that she has decided to just work WITH me and no longer against me when it comes to our daughter. Very nice arrangement and we have gotten along well for the past 7 years) and I have full, complete custody of my youngest daughter. It's exhausting, but worth it. Your kids, your bank account, and your sanity will thank you later for doing what I posted above. Best of luck man, I wish you all the best!
