Default Fuel pump question.

Could someone give me there opinion as to why my magnafuel pump might be doing this?? I sent it off to magnafuel to have it rebuilt and it still does the same thing. Is it the pump or something else? When I first bought it I had no problems with it and I have less than 1k miles on it.

You can hear the fuel pump hesitating, Check your ground, fuses, relays, etc.

Have you tried wiring it directly to a battery and bypass all old wiring and switches just to rule out the possibility of wiring? Run a wire from 12v directly to the pump and the same for ground.

Wild guesses since no real info is provided...

Check wiring and voltage TO the pump.
Check continuity THROUGH the pump (might need to yank the pump back out for this one, can go bad when you hook it up if your wiring is shorted).
Hot pump if external (shouldn't happen normally).
Hot in-tank pump if near empty tank or mixing up return and returnless fuel setup.
Dirty fuel filter.
Bad FPR or mixing return style and returnless style fuel systems.
