I will say, screw any invites to come down here, some folks from Texas and other states need to go drag them on their own turf. That's just me. Got a local posting on Htr that called out anyone that runs 5.2x on motor with 93 octane. Has yet to spray the gas. Street driven as well. Not just raced. One of many that would hang majority of that list up.

The term is still alive, "there is always someone faster".

Don't think you can just show up and wreck house. The OK guys are the real deal, they have been racing all over the country for many years.

Just because someone has a fast car does not guarantee a win, you have to make your car work on the street. It's not easy hooking a 1k HP car on the street...

No doubt, but there are plenty out there im sure that could take them. Claiming the fastest street raced cars in the world are all crammed up in OK is just a crazy claim. Just too many cars in the US. Im sure there are a TON that just wont race on the streets.

LOL@ people on here and other forums talking about our fast street cars and complaining about OKC's "street cars" or lack there of....... Yet I don't know of any REAL street cars down here that are running 4.70s.....

And lets not talk about Larson's million dollar car... No doubt LMR's Formula/TA would run with the top few spots on the list but nothing else in that BS call out video is gonna run with the top spots on the OKC list...

Just being realistic here.... 4.70 cars are not a drop in the bucket... Real street cars or not, that's hauling ***...and them actually making them somewhat work on the street?...That's very impressive to me..

That's just the point, that murder nova would never pass inspection in Texas or anywhere else for that matter. Meanwhile in OK they did away with state inspection years ago allowing anyone with working headlights to slap a tag on their car and call it a street car. This has allowed them to carve out a niche for themselves. They do seem to be ahead of the curve on this "street raced" cars thing. But the fact is they really aren't street cars, therfore there many cars across the US could keep up with them or beat them at the track. -my little .02-
