Default Needing Valve Springs Installed
I have a set of 799 heads in which I need some PRC 1518 springs installed for my TSP 224. Heads are off and needing a reputable shop in the DFW area to install. What would be the price range? Any suggestions would be appreciate it.

Please say you're not taking them off to replace the springs? And go to an auto parts store and buy a air fitting (only if you aren't pulling the heads) for the spark plug hole and valve compressor tool. It's pretty easy to change them out. Buy a pen magnet as the locks are like mexican jumping beans.

No I just got a deal on some 799's and need the springs replaced, due to new cam.

do you just need the springs installed on the heads or do you need the heads installed too?... where are you in dfw?

Do it yourself. You can rent the tool at AZ for free. If anyone wants to charge your more than $50 tell them no thanks.

The heads are off I just need the valve springs installed.

That job is easy on the bench. Rent the tool and save you self some cash for future mods!

if you don't rent the tool I can do them for you but you would have to bring them to me in the frisco area... not sure if it is worth the drive for you vs renting the tool
