That was probably me. I came up while you it was on the trailer and you said you were removing the pulleys to give to the other goat.

Oh man I was talking to you and didn't even know rofl. I had talked to you back in march too.

Did you guys stay till Sunday? It was the best day no head wind and a little tail wind towards the end of the day. There was like 10 cars/bikes that did 200+. There was a few GTRs, a black Ford GT and a black R8 that didn't have a cages. Tech threatened that they would be handed a long ban if they broke 200 again even though they kept letting off trying to get back under 200 befiore the end. The Record holder Ford GT(the wrapped one) went 278.2 breaking up badly. The vid is below

Ford GT's don't require cages at the Texas Mile.

Learn something new every day lol . I wonder if the cage rule applies to r8s, Lamborghinis too? I was next to the alpha 10 gtr when they told him keep under 199 or get banned.

Ford GT is the only car that has a exemption.

back in 08 or 09 drawings showing the FGT's frame (it looks like a giant cage) was presented to the Mile organizers and they gave the exemption.

google Ford GT frame and see what I mean.

I believe there was 12 out 225 cars. 11 V2s and 1 V1(I didn't count mine as I wasn't running).

Now there were an *** ton of Vettes as usual.
