Car help
Ok guys so every time I go to start my car it cranks but doesn't start like it's supposed to. It's takes me a couple times for it to start. The car has had the fuel pump changed fuel filter new plugs an wires, I do hear the pump prime every time. I'm at a loss for this already so any help would be great thanks
When cranking (when the starter is turning the engine but it's not started yet) is the tachometer showing RPM above 350?
What car and engine are you asking about? How many miles? Any modifications to the engine?
Lol ya i have a neighbor in mind for that

Dealership told me it was the ignition cylinder and after paying them $500 to change it, a few days later it was still happening. Took it back and they said it was the starter now... I changed the starter myself and the problems were fixed.
Mine would just randomly not start, wouldn't try to crank or anything. I'd have to turn the key off/on/off/on and about after 10-15 tries it would crank. This wasn't every time though. It would start for 2 weeks just fine and then go 2-3 days where it would take me a minute or two just playing with the key.
Bought a new ignition cylinder from a GM dealership.
We dropped the lower panel under the steering column found the BCM harness.
Unplugged the harness from the installed cylinder, plugged it into the new cylinder
put the new key into "run" position, zip-tied it up and reinstalled the lower panel.

This will only work if the problem is with your key or the key contacts in the cylinder
