Default Block Work/Machine work in Houston area?

Can't find any up-to-date info on this subject.

Looking to get an LQ4 block cleaned, bored to pistons, and new cam bearings installed. Anyone have any ideas of who is good in the area?

Westside Performance and Machine is probably your best bet. They're reasonably priced, have good turnaround times, and perform quality work.

There are others in the area, but lately seem to only have two of the three qualities stated above.

Harris Engine and Grinding...two old guys...not in a hurry, don't work on Fridays. Machinework looks like jewelry and is always dead nuts perfect when I assemble it.

I have always heard good things about Westside, if you are on that side of town. Nickens Brothers in Conroe has built two bottom ends for me and I am very pleased.

Default Hp

HP Racing Engines in Magnolia was recommended to me. Although mine was a Gen1 SBC (not LSx), I was happy with the work and price.
