I'll be there testing my new setup on the Camaro.

 

I plan on driving over and be there when they open the gates. Hopefully it cools down nicely tomorrow evening.

I'll be in the Black 98 SS Camaro. Will be an 80 mile drive for me, so I want to get there early and get the car tech'd in and cooled down early. Hoping to be close to a 10.9x pass on motor, might try a couple of 150 hp shot passes.

 

I go to HMP. Never liked getting kicked after driving way out there to RPR.

 

RPR hasn't kicked anyone in quite some time. I went 10.10 without issues; friend was going 9.20s with a helmet only

 

Even if so, HMP is way closer and better in general. I have hit 15 passes in a night. And could have hit more. Not waiting in that line and driving that far. Lol, I know a ton of folks that go to HMP as well.

 

You can keep HMP; went there once and never again. HRP is getting to be bad though.

 

I went once to HMP and while it's only a 8th mile it was nice not having to wait 2 hrs in line. RPR is just to crowded. They need to be open Friday and Sunday with Sunday only for cars without street tires.

 

I managed to get in 4 passes, was hoping it would have cooled down a little more than it did. I did get a new PB motor pass although it was not quite the 10.9x I was hoping for. So close but yet so far

Made the 160 mile round trip drive and made 3 new best motor passes for my 98 SS Camaro. Best pass was my second run, and I actually hot lapped on that one because I fubarred the first pass.

Maybe I will get another chance at that 10.9x pass next Friday, supposed to be a stronger cold front come through around Thursday or so.

 

Yeah we got 4 passes and probably could have got 8 or so if we got there when it opened and if we hadn't taken a dinner break.
