As a father that has lost a child I perhaps touch on the subject better than many, so I don't take it in a good way.

Not to mention getting our members all POd, just not good.

Go to yellowbullet with that is all I can say.
Agreed...also having been in your situation myself, can say I feel the same way.

Paul Walker seemed liked good man, not your typical hollyweirdo. RIP

I don't mind giving vacations for stuff like that. If I am outside my bounds and a admin doesn't like it, they can let me know and I won't do it. But I have said my piece.

Yea- his movies may have been cheesy at times but I watch them all the time. As noted above his franchise did spur a new movement in racing. Some of- if not the best main stream car movies ever made.

No matter what the case I can't stand people running their mouth on subjects like this just to get noticed. Thanks for taking care if it.

I don't venture in there at all. The name jibby sounds like he needs a ban.

Is Cookba's ban permanent? I have seen people say a lot worse and just get the title troll. Zone I know you have a personal stake in this especially with the loss of a child (my condolences) but you have to stay objective, lest you become one of us...more opinonated than impartial.
I am a huge Paul Walker fan. I rember going to see the first one backin Kaiserslautern, Germany back in '01. Cheesy but it influenced so many people. It also saw the astronomical rise in value of one of my dream cars...the Supra.
This situation reminds me a little of James Dean (Rebel without a cause) and his Porsche, even though Paul was not driving. I wonder if the media will draw a comparison as well as far as great actors cut down in the primes of their life.

Cookba's ban had more to do with what happened in the Racers Lounge thread. It wasn't just him and a few more got booted as well, either for good or for a short while. It's one thing to be indifferent to someone passing, it's another to wish for the rumors of death to be true and to revel in the news once confirmed.

Was temporary and lifted. Just wanted to bring some light to the situation. Nothing more. But yes, others vacations are 10-20 days.

Looks like they were doing 40-45mph in a turn rated at 15mph and that's when the driver lost control. They also ruled out street racing.

He is.

Westboro Baptist doesn't represent Christ's love at all. They are a cult who has seriously seriously gone way off the edge. The Baptist organization doesn't recognize them as a church and they definitely don't represent how "Christians" should act.

As a believer myself, it's a shame that they claim to represent Jesus. I can't stand the fact that that cult exists. It's a shame that they do all of the stuff they do. I hope people stop their protest. That's just sad.
