That go pro sucked. Only got the first hour. Honestly the best advice I can give you is to trail run miles a day months prior but it's too late. Lol. The obstacles are crazy and expect the be very wet. At the second to last obstacle, there was a guy who was hypothermic. Didn't know his name or where he was. Basically unrepsonsive. He left on a stretcher with a thermal blanket. Carb load and you will be fine. You are running the 11 wave so ipthe weather will be MUCH better than yesterday at 830. Enjoy it. It was a great experience.

I couldn’t agree more 98TA, it was a awesome experience that words cannot explain. During the sandbag hill the wounded warriors were making their climb, I cannot even begin to tell how many guys were choked up just from the inspiration from those soldiers. I saw a man with no legs climb a hill (more like a small mountain) everyone was super nice and helped out with support and motivation. The obstacles were tough yet not impossible; I had heard that Saturday’s race was alot colder than Sunday. It took me and my buddy 5 hours to complete the race and we were walking and conserving our energy. I hated the bucket hill almost as much as the slippery slope. I can’t wait to get my trifecta medal next year after we do the other two races.

Saturday was frigid. Water was in the low 40s, wind was colder and it only got to 42 degrees at 2 pm. There was seriously ice on the ground throughout the course. I had the most trouble with the traverse bc my grip was smoked after the bucket pulley lift obstacle.
