Alittle off topic but Khenry could you please do me a favor. Its hard to watch your video when all I can focus on is the passenger fender not aligned with the door and rocker. Take a hammer and gentle bend the tap back in and stop jacking the car by that tab. Other then that you sir have a clean car.

That tab gets bent all the time by the cats at tire stores who dont know NOT to get on it plus when you pull the jack back from under the car if its not down far enough it gets hit all the time and bends. GM should have done a better job on that design for sure.Plastic fenders will crack and break there too. Ask me how I know.......

Track was good, car went 8.9 @ 158, but I was having problems with my transbrake. Converter is too loose and this POS Trans I bought off a guy has seen better days. Got a new Trans built just need to make time to go pick it up. Also got PTC to build me a converter, and got a little 2K surprise in the works also. I have a few days off next week and plan on putting everything back in and do a little more testing before 2K. Your car looks great BTW, really clean!

Your car is running strong, that is some damn good mph, especially considering the weight. Definitely soft on the 330', has a lot more in it for sure once you get the converter/launch down. I'm guessing you were going 1.40 60's or so? Maybe high .30s.. The car is definitely making some jam... Getting the converter right is a pita in these things. I've had mine out 4 times.. I just got it back from FTI having to tightened again. I went 151 mph at 6800 at 11.5% converter slip.. I'm hoping to gain 2-3 mph with the tighter converter. I had a Coan in it first, the slip % was about the same but the car was 4.5 mph slower with the Coan then the FTI.. There is definitely mph to gain from converter efficiency.
No doubt your car has 8.60-8.70s in it once it's dialed in. I imagine you have to be putting 1k to the wheels running 158 mph@3700lbs.
I'll be happy to make a solid 100% full power, hard launch pass. If I can go 8.90@153-154 I'll be happy as a pig in **** for my little pump gas cruiser with AC and 18 mpg hwy.. I'll never get to run with you big dogs tho..

I had the transmission completely rebuilt, just need to find time to go pick it up. The converter should be back early next week so I'll put it back together by the end of next week. I also have another upgrade, but I'll talk more about that after 2K. Your car definetly runs great for a true DD, too many people call their race cars a street car/truck these days. I'm sorry a back halved, air to water IC, car/truck that can't fill up at the pump is not a street car/truck.

I just finished my Civic to bring down with a new turbo system. I'm having major problems with turbo lag that I need to figure out. The thing just won't spool up, but I think the new special tune from my uncle in Tokyo will fix the problem. But needless to say, I'm seeing huge IAT gains which indicates about 400hp per liter. You do the math lolz. Here's a sneak peak. #VTEC

Haha. I don't know man.. the weight difference from the SS to the Vette might give you a jump on me. I'm looking at doing some weight reduction to drop as much weight as possible without giving up stuff I enjoy (i.e., A/C -haha!).

Looks like my car may not be ready. changed to a bigger crank pulley for my procharger. I was spinning the D1 to 52000 now i'm spinning it to 59000, but my 60lb injectors are maxed out by the time im at 4,500 RPM. I'm going to try and grab some injectors before TX2K14 and have it tuned. But i might not make it in time.
I could just roll around and not race anyone, but i seriously dont think i have that much self control.
