The last episode where they raced that 57 chevy from drag week is what did it for me, NO WAY could (in reality) any of their cars beat that 57. Street or not street, That car is quick!

I don't envy them at all. The fastest guy on the list works for the state and made less at his regular job than I made in the stock market last year by a factor of 2X!


Hell he probably has more $$ invested in his motor than he does the trailer house he lives in!

Meanwhile I'll be kicking back in 10 years retired sipping martinis on a cruise ship somewhere while those guys will be spending every last dollar still trying to beat each other. Nope, don't envy them one bit. But I'll admit the show is somewhat entertaining even though its fake as ****. I see the show spiraling down soon though, can fool some people some of the time, but not all the people all the time.

I said it after episode #1, jerking the wheel back and forth during the entire race doesn't improve ETs. Still, every race, it looks like the steering linkage breaks. I guess a race isn't exciting if you aren't jerking the wheel around and swerving. Staying in your lane and in control doesn't make for good TV.
