We had already verified that it was to big for an attachment. I thought you had something special.

It works.
And after looking at the tune, I'm leaning towards the cats coming apart and doing some damage internally. It'll be interesting to see what is found when it's pulled apart.

Just talked with Bad Chad, he is going to pull the motor soon. I have to get him the car. Once we pull it apart we will see what`s broke and get it fixed. Had a really good talk with Chad, Great guy! Blessed to be able to work with him.! I will keep everyone informed of the findings. Thanks!

We were just talking about this and wondering where you were with it. I am also leaning toward the initial failure to take care of the cats being the ultimate downfall. I am sure Chad will get you fixed up. Keep us posted and good luck. If it makes you not feel as lonely, a friend had a simple cam install and a tune done by a different Houston shop last week. When he got it home it started having some noise and oil pressure issues. After it was taken apart it was found to have his old oil pump still in place with a shitty port job done. He paid for a new one. To make things sting a little more he is well capable of doing this job himself. Don't think he didn't hear it from those in our circle of car folks.

Well, It is not my business dealing and he is trying to make them pay for this. It is not yet settled so I don't feel like it is my place to say. I may post up when it is settled. I know of one case lately where some *** hat tried to sue a shop and not only lost, he had to pay the shop an unsettled balance. LOL

well, when this happened to me, by the time it happened to me, I felt that it was already too late to sue. Once I took possession of the vehicle, who is to say that I didnt take the car apart and replace good parts with bad parts in an effort to "frame" said shop?

Is the shop on addicks satsuma road?

You should absolutely name the shop when the time is right. No reason for another local guy to get burned.

Sorry, there are plenty of negative feedback threads on just about all shops. Some true some not. That said, I am pretty sure that one is lagit. Just to keep from muddying the water I only say for sure or name drop in the case of my own dealings. I do all but a smidge of my own work though, so I usually only write about parts venders.

You should ask your friend to speak up. That's the whole point of car forums like this. We are essentially a community of like minded people. It's always a good thing to oust shady people within it.

Yes, that is it's greatest value to us all. I have asked him to put it out there and he may. That's up to him.
