Can you post some more info for those of us that just got into the Pontiac thing this year.

I'm going to the Ft. Worth show tomorrow. I am told this is a pretty big show, around 500 cars taking up 6 blocks.

There are about 66 photos in this Facebook album. Didn't win anything because my engine compartment was not detailed. I'll probably go again next year but Big Red III will be much better prepared!

2014 Pontiac Southern Nationals

I think my favorite car there (besides my own) was the 2002 Maple Red Metallic Firebird with a 427ci LS7, Custom Nitrous, and a Level V 4L60E. It is stealthy (even with the cage), stunning and I bet it is very fast!

Of course nothing like that yellow beast parked next to me. Looked like a full race Pro Street setup. Wish I had gotten a picture of the rear tires but I didn't pay any attention to them until I was following them out after the event. I'm not very good at estimating but I would guess the rears were about 24" wide.

With a one year of exception in San Antonio it has always been in DFW. They actually didn't have it at all a couple of years around that time. The flight museum location is new though, last year was the first year. Typically it has been held at a nice hotel in one of the northern suburbs and the racing was usually at the Motorplex.
