Hi everybody!

I just bought a 2000 SS(see sig). I wanted to see if I could find the previous owner to get a full list of what has been done to the car. It drives pretty well, but it will be more of a restoration for me than a race car. Based on the 100 miles or so I have put on it, I would say it has a stiffer suspension than factory, has an aftermarket or at least not stock clutch. The AC was having issues, but I made the place I bought it from fix it. Just want to know if anyone knows who owned it before or maybe they are even on this board currently. I have been surfing these boards on and off for years, and will be on for good with this car as it will be a lot of work to restore it to as close as a procharged vehicle can be to showroom. I appreciate it in advance.

I saw that one on craigslist, should run pretty well. What sort of restoration are you looking to do?

Yeah, I didn't pay near what they were asking for, it has some visual hiccups and other things that come with a 15 year old car. Just planning on replacing worn parts and a quieter exhaust. Little bit of audio upgrading, nothing too much as it already has plenty of power and I don't plan on racing it...too much

The Craigslist ad was very generous as it looks great from far, but far from great up close.

Bump...

Going to get the car in the air, but won't be able to find out everything, so would like to at least get a list of mods if anyone recognizes the car that would be awesome!

Thanks, previous owner I guess drove to a rock quarry everyday, lots of paint chips on the hood and front bumper. Going to have to repaint at some point in time. Not sure if I want to keep them or go back to factory Arctic White, probably whichever mood strikes me at the time.
