NEEDING HELP ON IDENTIFING ls6 HEADS

Default NEEDING HELP ON IDENTIFING ls6 HEADS
ALL,

Need some help on trying to check a set of heads out , they are LS6 heads installed on the motor is what I was told. Are there any markings I need to look for etc...

here is something i found on google.
243 and 799 are basically the same head.
difference is valve springs 243 had yellow springs 799 had blue springs.

I did not see any of these casting numbers.

Take some pictures of the heads for us and post em up. The only one your gonna be able too see is the one on the driver side heads right behind the power steering pump .

I'd say no casting number, no LS6 asking price. Which shouldn't be outrageously high to start with...

The 5364 is a LS3 head. 243s came on LS6 but they also came on trucks. 799 as well. The 243s that came on the LS6 Z06 have the light weight valves and yellow springs==2002-2004.
