htownws6 and WMSuperSport have really done a fantastic job of showing their asses and making complete idiots out of themselves. If this is how you people react to one comment online, holy **** I can't imagine how you are in-person on a job site...

Not surprised in the least little bit. I do feel bad for the thousands of people that have lost their jobs recently but overpaid underskilled Work has bred an expensive culture in the service sector that births non profits under $60 a barrel. If anything i hope this dip teaches these companies how to be more efficient and not WASTE resources.. who knows.

Agreed completely.

A lot of the industry needs to hit the reset button.

Still waiting to see when my slip will be handed to me. Till then, I will keep my head down and continue working.

I would send it back to them. What happens if something breaks or the transmission gets burnt up again after someone else has worked on it? Will they still honor the warranty?

Did a lot of thinking this morning and came to this same conclusion. No better scenario than to Just ship it straight back to them.

I was on the phone with them for awhile today and even after I told them the lack of fluid that came out of the pan when I drained it (indication that I didn't do my part) they still said we are going to fix it for free. I can't say enough about FTI.. So glad I went with a company that has a good service rep. It's invaluable now a days.

Holley dominator efi? If so I assume you could add a line pressure sensor for some protection in the future.

Funny thing is I have one sitting on my work bench... Honestly I don't think it was a lack of pressure (low fluid) as I'm assuming you would use the sensor to monitor pressure that way and or create a safety? I filled the thing up according to spec. Troy said that albeit rare the glides have been known to randomly burn up the band. Also he said that's it's possible that there was a mistake made on assembly and it's just speculation until it is back at FTI.

I think the Holley can use multiple inputs to turn on a single warning light, you could have AFR error, low fuel pressure, oil pressure, trans pressure and coolant temp all turn on the same "Oh ****" light..

I have MS3 Gold that can do it, so I am pretty sure Holley can as well.

I would definitely send it back to FTI. Once someone else goes in there, FTI's liability is out the window then.

Bite the bullet, ship it to them and let them fix it. I'm surprised they are making you pay shipping tho.

I had issues with one of their converters, they were literally over nighting me repaired and/or replaced converters until they got it right..

The issue was their fault, several times in a row, stupid mistakes that wasted my time and labor, but they ate the crow and did everything they possibly could to make it right.. Several times.

I continue to use them and recommend them. Every friend I have recommended get an FTI converter, has ETd quicker then most other vettes with the same engine combos.

Their stuff is good, but sometimes **** happens. Happens with RPM Transmissions too and they are the best in the business.

Unfortunately, that's "racing" as you put it.....just like why my engine has been out 3 times in 3 years..

Yup. The trans is already out and ready to ship. I too recommend FTI and will continue to do after this situation. I'm not real worried about the freight. It's costing me $100 each way. It would nice to have for free but I haven't pushed anything just yet. If inhabit back and they screwed something up than yeah I'll ask they ship it on their dime. Hopefully they work quickly. I'd like to have it back on the track by next Friday.
