Lots of shops can build glides... If you are trying to stay local, Michael's All Transmissions on telephone rd by Hobby Airport builds a lot of high performance transmissions... he has done T400s for me and all my buddies...also does some 9 sec T350s.
Other locals would be Arabie Racing Transmissions in Baytown, Century Transmission (Mike Kurtz) down in Rosenberg.
I saw your car running today at the rental..

The car was running ok until that last pass. Finally figured out why it wasn't making any boost in high gear and then the trans burned up. Oh well, that's racing I guess. 9.6 off the trailer with no boost on the back half isn't terrible.

Yeah I saw it go some 10.0s or so a couple times, I could tell it wasn't right.. It hit the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift...probably the trans losing the clutches, then the mph was around 140 and it sounded lazy from 1/8 on..
I figured you were working the bugs out of it and tuning it. Takes a while to get the kinks ironed out. It obviously has a ton of potential.
I was there with my buddy's white Grand Sport.. He went 9.54@143 on a stock LS3 (cam only) and Novi 1500 blower putting 9 psi in it... We were both surprised it ran that quick. We were expecting 9.80s.
The -1325 DA definitely helped...lol.. Unicorn air for down here.
On your Trans, I'd contact FTI... They are a good company and will probably warranty the repair. Greg is a good guy.

the lazy back half was due to a faulty connection for the pressure sensor on the wastegate domes (co2) as soon as i shifted to high gear the dome pressure was jumping all over the place and the car would go into safety mode (8lbs) on the back end down from 15 at the 1-2 shift.
and of course on the last run of the day after we figured out the issue the trans took a ****... that's racing i guess.
I saw that C6 run a few times that thing rolled out HARD. When i left that was the fastest pass of the day i think. If you see me out, Come holler at me.

Just got off the phone with FTI i have two options, send it to them proabably $300 in shipping or i can pay a guy here local to do the labor and they will cover parts. He is saying its the low gear band. He estimates $250-300 in labor for a local shop. Thoughts?
I like the idea of not waiting for shipping but if it goes there i don't have to worry about anything. i feel like sending it to another shop may open an opportunity to upcharge etc.
