Default 02 trans am abs inop, Tcs off, brake lights

My abs inop, brake, and Tcs off lights are on in the dash of the trans am I just got. It's an 02 with 68xxx miles on it? Anyone with a scanner than can check my ebtcm? I'm in Baytown. Today I went out side to crank it and when I did the lights didn't come on. I let it idle for 5 minutes shut it off and recranked it and they were back on. The car does have 19s on the back with spacers and 18s on the front I am trying to replace

Those big wheels is what is setting the codes. Put 17's back on and your problem most likely will be solve or delete the ABS system.

Wheel size doesn't matter. Are the front and rear tires the same height?

Those lights should turn off after disconnecting the battery for a hard reset. They should NOT turn back on until you start driving the car and the computers read x% variance between front and rear wheel speed sensors.

If the lights turn on before the car moves then its electrical. Check fuses, TCS box, wheel speed sensors, etc.

I ran 18&19 staggered wheels for a long time. It didn't make any lights come on. Usually if they are from a Corvette, the font tires will have more sidewall making the overall height the same. They will usually have to be quite different to make the light come on. An inch or even more is usually fine.

Wire harness to each front hub reluctor and each rear hub reluctor. The last time I went through this it ended up being the the ABS module (front left fender mounted)

This . Sometimes a bracket breaks and a wire will sag running on the road causing a short

Might be the issue.... might not... I think that is within the acceptable range. C6 come with 25.7" front and 26.9" rear so the gap is smaller with your tires. Fbody come with matching front/rear but again not sure what the acceptable range really is.

Thanks. I'm gonna check it out tomorrow. I got in the car today and drove maybe 2.5 miles with all the lights off using the brakes and then I had to stab the brakes because someone pulled out in front of me the lights came back on and never went back off. It seems that if I let it sent over night I can start it and the lights are off but they eventually come back on

In that case it is most likely the module but check those wires and reluctor really good because that is free.

Thanks I'll do that first if it is the module isn't there a way to scan it to check for that?

I had that issue for the longest time with 17 inch wheels. Finally decided to check the fuse box, and lo and behold it was one of the larger fuses for "brakes". Replaced it, and all 3 lights turned off. Sometimes its the simplest thing. Good luck

Some autoparts stores have one that'll read it. I can scan it for you but I'm far away.
