Default Broken TV

Well, my kids broke our 65in TV. Now a days I don't know if they are cheaper to repair or replace but thought I'd give it a shot. If anybody has any advice let me know. Carnage pic below.

Depending on the model/size, some of the screen replacements can be quite expensive too. Just source the replacement parts and check cost towards a new TV.(prices are pretty low for non-4k tv's already) DIY is pretty straight foward and there is a bunch of DIY's that you can follow. Just go slow and be patient and it's pretty simple. In my case it was cheaper to fix, but I've noticed price on parts is on the rise.

As low as they are now I would imagine it would be cheaper to just replace it. We bought a 55" LED 1080P LG for $550 and that was last year, so should be even better now.
