E. Texas Machine shop

Any good machine shops in east Texas/DFW area? I am in Shreveport but none by us. I don't mind the drive. Was looking to get my bottom end freshened up and maybe a set of forged pistons. All input welcomed/appreciated.

Houston engine and balancing, spillers automotive, aare, cb racing engines, dee fox racing engines, tre out in Cleveland, all some of the ones I have used

I'll be about 2 hours from u in a few months when we move I would also like to know a good shop for machine work and tuning also

in Longview tx east Texas muscle cars is a good shop and has a dyno as well. As far as I know they don't do any in house machining.

Another vote for Nickens. We get our engines done at Nickens Brothers and do their tuning. I have three 1,000+hp LS motors their right now.

EPM in Longview is who does all of my machine work. Clarke Watts runs it.

They do much with LS motors? Performance rebuilds or mostly stock builds?

Who is this question directed towards?

Just for reference, EPM in Longview does all of the engine machining work for East Texas Muscle Cars, or at least they did the last time I was out bullshitting with the owner of ETMC. Clarke and his guys at EPM are an all around machine shop by definition but they're well educated in LS engines, they do good work. Might not be the fastest turn around time but for me that didn't matter.
