No milk- Coors light. I think anyone would be tired of this and look for a solution.
Don't have a problem with the shop, don't know anything about their work. Do have a problem with them not stepping up and finding a solution. Guy has been saying the same line since they moved in. Apparently they figured it would be an issue and had a plan- then ran out of $$.
Guess I will just have to wait until they run out of money and move to a cheaper place.
Shops aren't supposed to make excessive noise at certain hours. I know because I have 3 shops that back up to people's homes and we have to operate around restrictions that allow my neighbors to call the law if/when we breach those hours. Some neighbors are cooler than others.
CYA policy - Document the times you are disturbed while trying to enjoy your peace, what you did about it, and what they did about it.
Good neighbors policy - Let PowerFab know that you and your neighbors aren't able to enjoy peace at reasonable times. If you can all come to a fair arrangement there can be peace. If they realistically operate through the night then it becomes a legal negotiation..... usually leading to the business relocating in X months (depends who's there first).
Trying to understand how the shop is laid out... Does one or both of the dynos have an open bay facing towards people's homes? That would be a dick move and they should do something about it. AFAIK the PowerFab folks try to do it right and I wouldn't want to see a legit business get shut down for something like this. Especially while gypsy shops are out there conning people. Inspector's squeaky wheel idea sounds right for this.
I'd say that's pretty black and white. That is not very loud and I'd bet your average street car would well surpass it. This would especially be the case with a car strapped to a load. This brings up new questions of whether or not I should get a dyno.
