E85 quality?

Default E85 quality?
I will be coming to the DFW area in February and was wondering what the quality is for e85. We are racing a stock car series and don't want to have to bring 100 gallons of fuel with if there's a good source in the area. Thanks in advance for your help, Duals.

Kroger and Sunoco have been consistent in the South Houston area. Can't help you up there but I bet it is pretty consistent.

I see E85 at the Krogers here in the north metroplex (Plano area). I don't like even 10% in my tank but that is the reality we live in today.

We run E85 to help keep costs down and it helps run a little cooler. In our area race fuel is around $9.25/gallon compared to $1.75 for e85.

The Kroger on 121 and Coit (Plano) tested 85% for me last week.

You should be running a flex fuel sensor if you’re racing with e85 in the first place. There is no “quality” of E85, there’s only a fluctuating percentage of ethanol content that varies based on season. This isn’t some backyard brew, this is a strict federally regulated commodity, cmon man.

The tour got cancelled due to weather. The run carburetors per class rules and test fuel from every source. Just was trying to check with the locals to see what was available.
