I am originally from the valley also. I am sure there are alot more people that originated from the valley area.

Carlos and Jay Villalon here from Mission, Texas. We have two cars, a 2002 Z28 and 1999 Z28. Some of you who have been regulars at the track may have seen the Black '99 before. Its been almost two years since it was out there, but its last pass was 10.15 at 133 mph. You can can see more about the car at cvillalon.tripod.com It may not see more track time for awhile, but its alive and well. We're now trying to make it a little more streetable by going back to power steering and ditching the spool for a posi unit. Anyhow, it looks like we might be getting into the racing scene again within the next year.

One and the same. 2002 was the last time the car was taken to the track. I've got video of about 4 or 5 passes. I just put them on DVD, so I'll have to resize and make the files much smaller. Depending on if they get Road Runner back-up on-line, I could have them hosted by tomorrow. I'll chime in when I get the vids up.

Car fried some valves close to the finish and shut off at about the 1000' mark. The second is a set of 3 passes. I can't remember the dates, but these are probably 10.30 passes. Enjoy.

Weslaco F-body here,
as far as gtg we have been planning plenty for f-bodies and I got to say that so far they have all been successful. we have had some f-body meetings, f-body photoshoots with like 40 f-bods an island cruise and a f-body football game vs. The musntang owners and also a BBQ at the weslaco city park with all of these events bringing in about an average of 40 f-bodies all the time it's awesome to get to together like this if you guys are interested we are organizing the south texas f-body organization so we can get together and have stuff like this the next meeting will probably be within the next 2 months.
Eddie
p.s. there is a link on this website of the photoshoot that I organized. a while back like in May/2005

Then click on "Properties" and another window will pop up.
The address or "url" of the image will be next to where it says "Address:"
Highlight that and then right-click on the blue area and click "copy"(To highlight it hold down the mouse button at the beginning of the text or address and drag it to the last letter and release the mouse button)
now you can paste that link anywhere by right-clicking and clicking "paste"
To insert an image into your post here on the message board, click on the little square button with a picture of a mountain with a dot hovering over it. The paste the link there and hit enter.
