You guys crack me up...saying the refs were SOO biased?? Did you not see how much tech was penalized? Last time I remember seeing the stats, we had more penalties, for more yards.

Not very gracious winners are ya?

Then we get OU, and we put up 100 more offensive yards then them, and hold a guy who ran for 230+ against UT to 100 yards on 30 carries, but in the end two stupid turnovers cost us the game, so we lost by 7, so as of right now, A&M is 8 points away from being undefeated in the Big 12 and looking at a 9-1 record, on the other end, UT has got alot of big breaks, they got very lucky against a now 4-5 Arkansas team, and we all know what happened last week, so to say UT is that much better than A&M is very ignorant, in reality, a few plays eitherway and A&M could be on top of UT, I think we match up with UT very well, they run alot, we stop the run very well. I think this will be the 1st GOOD T+1 game since 99.

I agree, but its tough to play in Austin
More than anything I hate the way that TU and OU fans both think they're intitled to to just roll over A&M and everybody else in the Big 12 and like its their god given right to play in a BCS game or the National Championship game

You are right on that there were a lot of penalties. But there were some BS calls and you can’t deny it. My favorite is the 2 point conversion on us. I didn’t see how a guy that catches the ball when the two closest guys were 3 yards behind him could possibly be pass interference but hey. It was a damn good game just too bad I could yell with my fellow ags at the game since I lost my voice partying at north gate all night Friday. There were also some bad calls on tech so it all kind of evens out. I am glad we won so I could see us beat tech before I graduate in May.

I don’t like making excuses and the pass couple post about A&M on the forums have just make me feel sick. I am not trying to bad mouth anyone just these post remind me of high school and all the drama that went on there. To settle some things. A&M is having a great season even though we have lost to Baylor, OU, and Utah. You won’t get any excuses form me we lost and that is it. If we were looking ahead to the oh game and what not doesn’t matter you have to play the game you are playing now not next week so I don’t care for that excuse we lost and that’s final. Now this is how I see it the biggest thing I am proud of from A&M this year is they are not giving up when they start losing. Before is we would loss a 14 point leave the guys would just seem to lose it but this year we have proved we can turn around and fight until the end and win a couple and lose a few. Also the team is year for the most part. Coach Fran is doing a great job coaching these guys and I cant wait to see next season I think Reggie is going to be one of the best QB in the nation if he improves as much next year as he has this year. And If our D keeps improving I will be gladly calling them the Wrecking Crew again and be proud to do so.

Well I have HW to get done so I will just end it there.

Darrell

Agreed 5.3, in my earlier posts I said clearly that our guy pushed off, and hard at that! And I also said it was a clean interception, if not for the guy behind the etch receiver who blew it for the Aggies by pushing him in the back.

Awesome game as always at Kyle field! It's awe inspiring for a tech fan (and many other schools too) to go see a game at A&M. 80K+ fans all yelling makes for some fun...And unlike Tech, most everybody seems to stay to the end win or lose (I hate that about Tech's fair weather fans). See yall in Lubbock next year!

Yeah...that was a great game at Kyle Field...

As far as I'm concerned the Aggies have surpassed any and all expectations this year...

They have the #1 Most difficult schedule this year in the NCAA...and to be where they are is saying a lot for a new coaching tenure...

Also of note: Just saw that Utah has leapfrogged Texas in the AP poll...Utah is now #5 and Texas stays at #6.

Now that loss to Utah at the beginning of the season doesn't look too bad...

Aggy is delusional. They fail to remember they lost to freaking Baylor. They also want you to think they are the worlds best fans, yet they fail to admit leave early to games like last years Texas game. Furthermore they have to offer 2 for 1 ATM/OU tickets to get people in the seats. Something must be in the water in Collie Station. Everyone needs to read this to reassure themselves this school is a joke.... http://www.rizard.com/jim.html

Texas is #5 in the BCS, still ahead of Utah. Although, if Utah stays in the Top 6, UT is screwd.

And where did you come up with atm having the "#1 Most difficult schedule this year in the NCAA"? I havn't been able to find that nonsense anywhere.

Who takes Jim Rome seriously??!!...wow Quoting him is like quoting Howard Stern in a political debate

You people got lucky against Kansas and performed nowhere near as good as we did against OU...no matter what you people do you ALWAYS end up at the Holiday Bowl...what a waste of talent

Aggie fans are bad...what is up with this?....

Wow who is the bitterist tea sipper on the forum right now? LOL

Speaking of OU, remind me I forgot how many points did your alleged heisman triphy candidate running back and second coming of Michael Vick of a QB put up against OU? I forgot could you remind me?
And the greatest defense ever with the best defensive player in the nation gave up how many rushing yards to a freshmen?

Pretty sad douchsbag

You guys crack me up. I never even mentioned UT in my post, but you immediately start your OU smack. I shouldn't be surprised though since ATM is so obsessed with UT. Afterall isn't their fight song dedicated to their hatred of UT? This hatred got 12 kids killed a few years ago.

But since you mentioned Texas, I'd say their fans are arrogant and allways have something to complain about. In their mind, texas never plays good enough. But at least Texas doesn't have idiotic stuff like a dead dog scoreboard, yell practice, no walking on the grass, and corp members that chase cheerleaders with their saber. Additonally didn't ATM fans assault Nebraska fans for going on the "sacred" field? Come on guys...Take off the maroon glasses. You know just as I know that the crap that ATM pulls in the name of "tradition" is downright stupid.

Saw it on ESPN I believe...A&M was like #1, Baylor was like #6, and Texas was up there too....USC was like #33....

Just showing the strength of schedule should play a bigger part in the BCS ratings...

pacman, better think twice before you start randomly typing... for one, the sacred grass you're not supposed to walk on is only the surrounding grass of the MEMORIAL Student Center. which is a memorial to all fallen aggies in wars past and present. if the vietnam war memorial asked people to not walk on the grass around it, would you make fun of it? (never been there so i dont know if it does or not, but hypothetically speaking to prove a point your words are ignorant).

as for the 12 that died building bonfire, it wasn't a hatred that killed them. if you knew anything about aggieland and how people are here, you would know that it was the experience of building bonfire to show the spirit of all aggies in the spectacle that bonfire was (and still is off campus). aggie bonfire on campus was the pinnacle of the aggie spirit, in which students volunteered much of their time and sweat to acheive a goal. yes it, had to do with the rivalry game, but if you had spent anytime here you would see it was more about aggies coming together to show school spirit and pride. not just students went to aggie bonfire, alumni and whole families came to bonfire. and if you were anywhere near college station on nov 18, 1999 you would also know that UT was the absolute last thing on any aggie's mind, no one cared about the game after that. being at stack site about 45 minutes after it fell until lunchtime with friends from the dorm was diffucult to do, even though i didnt know anyone that was on stack for that shift.

had to vent, you picked a bad time to knock on 2 things that are very near and dear to aggies' hearts, especially with the anniversary of stack collapse about 50 hrs from now

Dude, you have to realize, the Horns have a little book they refer to when Texas A&M is mentioned, 1st of all, we are SO jealous of them, and all we do on campus is sit around thinking about how much we hate UT, 2nd, the 20 year period where we were better than UT never happened, it was just a fluke, 3rd, all of Texas A&M is the core, it makes up 100% of the student body, and finally, we can't ever forget we are all brainwashed.... . It gets to the point where reading the same lame *** uneducated BS gets funny, none of it is even remotly true, anybody who has spent enough time on campus or in College Station knows that. Just ignore it when they say stuff like that.
