Default A&M wrecks Tech

Great game, didn't expect the game to be so low scoring but the Ags pulled it off in OT great job and Gig Em!

PS...... Could Texas get any luckier against Kansas?

hell yes...A&M wins baby!

calling Gordon for a penalty in the Texas/Kansas game was a controversial call that cost Kansas the game....

Not really a wrecking, but a good win.

Kansas really did take Texas down to the wire. Good game.

There should not have even been a OT in College Station, Jaxson Appel made a clean interception that was called interference, and for the game tieing TD pass the receiver for Tech pushed off BIG time, but oh well, we won anyway.

Hey,
I agree! The refs were definitely going against the Aggies today...

Sprayed1998 - love that sig! I still remember that game against TCU...people all over were talking about "The Hit"! Brings back memories!

Well it is kinda weird, if we lose to UT, it is 100% for sure the Cotton Bowl, if we beat them, it knocks them out of the BSC bowl picture and they might get the Cotton Bowl, which would put us in the Holiday Bowl, it sounds stupid but that is what could happen, I would much rather beat the Horns though....

Nah, if we beat the horns the cotton bowl will pick us over the horns no doubt. We will have identical conference records with the tiebreaker over UT. Since we haven't picked cotton in a while they would jump at the chance to pack A&M fans inside.

On the interception, the guy BEHIND the tech receiver was the one called for interference. It was a clean catch on the other guy's behalf, but if one of the two guys covering has his hands in thew rong place, he gets called no matter what.

And on that game tieing TD pass, I agree, our boy pushed off...But again, all that was after the pushing of the A&M player. Bunch of tough calls the refs had to make, and a great game.

I didn't think we had a chance of going to Kyle field and holding the Aggies that close though, it's a tough place to play for the away team! Fun game to watch no doubt!

the second best game ive been to at kyle field (beating OU 2 yrs ago of course was #1). it was perfect weather and atmosphere for an in-state rival game.... now i just have to take it easy on my voice so i can get it back.

Yeah, it was a badass game. Im only a freshman here so its great to see how crazy Kyle Field can get. There were alot of Tech people here too. Great game, very close especially with the Tech biased refs, but A & M managed to pull it off in OT, something we've been to alot lately. Cant wait to see the Ags in Dallas at the Cotton Bowl.

P.S. - I agree, Texas got so lucky on Sat against Kansas. I think we have all seen the Kansas Coach's interview and the BCS conspiracy comments by now.

You aggs crack me up. I wouldn't say Texas brought their "A game" to Kansas, but it was good "do or die" playing by Young and the boys that won the game. The "controversial" pass interference call could have gone either way. The same could be said for the interception by Appel that was called interference or for the game tieing TD pass the receiver for Tech "pushed off" on. By your assesment of the UT game, atm was just as "lucky". Especially going into OT.

I wouldn't boast about beating anyone after a loss to Baylor.

Yeah...looking forward to the Texas vs. A&M game...I just hope both teams show up!

Will the Texas team that punished Okla. St. or the one that barely beat KS show up??

Will the A&M team that stood toe to toe with OU or the one that let Baylor win show up??

At the beginning of the season I would have thought Texas would be the clear choice, but not now...both teams have their days...

I think Franchione has done one helluva job! Considering it takes about this long (if not longer) to see the affect of a coaching change...

Let the games and smack talk begin! A&M TU

Few fail to realize how good A&M has been this year, the Utah game was our 1st game and half of the people that played in that game are now sitting on the bench, the Baylor game sucked, I will admit that, I think we were looking ahead to OU, but who knows, alot of the teams we have beat have pounded Baylor, but in the end, we lost by 1 point in OT. Then we get OU, and we put up 100 more offensive yards then them, and hold a guy who ran for 230+ against UT to 100 yards on 30 carries, but in the end two stupid turnovers cost us the game, so we lost by 7, so as of right now, A&M is 8 points away from being undefeated in the Big 12 and looking at a 9-1 record, on the other end, UT has got alot of big breaks, they got very lucky against a now 4-5 Arkansas team, and we all know what happened last week, so to say UT is that much better than A&M is very ignorant, in reality, a few plays eitherway and A&M could be on top of UT, I think we match up with UT very well, they run alot, we stop the run very well. I think this will be the 1st GOOD T+1 game since 99.
