***Official T+1 Thread*** Well, it is 11 days till the big game, I think both teams have played well this year and I really have no idea what to expect, Texas strong point is running, and that is A&M's strong point on defense. As fasr as Texas's defense, well I think it is safe to say they are one of the best in the country. I think if A&M can slow Benson and Young down enough, they will have a shot in this game, what does everybody think? Lets get some early predictions.....

we have been playing like *******, esp w/ our showing at ******* Kansas... but i still feel being at home and our performance at other cruicial games(except OU) i think we will be on top at the end of the 4th quarter

I think we can contain Benson, it is Vince Young that scares me, Texas basically has two running backs, one of them just happens to throw the ball every once in a while.
I hope it's a well-played game. I'd love to see UT play their best when the Aggies play their best, and let nature take its course. That's what this game is all about. Let's face it, for most people every Longhorn is one (bad) decision from being an Aggie.
Maybe one of these years both UT and A&M will take care of business during the rest of the season and this will mean much more than just a rivalry game.

I think the OU game was pretty good, both teams played there hardest, even though Texas lost, they only held OU to field goals.

I think UT being at home (this is a big home dominated series), Coach Brown's and Cedric Benson's history of dominating A&M, UT's defense, aTm's loss to Baylor, and their close wins to bad teams, and top to bottom Texas having more talent than the Ags, will add up to a fairly easy win for the Horns. If the game were played at A&M I'd be a little more concerned.

Too many brainwashed, myopic Aggies folks on here can't seem to carry on a realistic, educated, and mature discussion without turning to personal insults when it comes to discussing Texas and A&M as evidenced by their comments in some of the previous threads on this topic.

I think it will be a good game and I will be in attendence. I think Young will have another decent passing game and hopefully have over 400 yards of total offense. Young will be the one to seal the deal for UT at the game, and maybe Mock can come in at the end of the 4th quarter
