Default Well, crap! I got pulled over :(

Yeah, i was being stupid about 2:30 Sunday Morning.
I was just driving along minding my own business. I see a car come up behind me and he's riding my ***. Its a mustang, and he passes my *** up. So i go to catch up, and wouldnt you know it, a damn state trooper was coming the other way. My radar detector picked him up, but by that time it was too late.
He pulled over the Mustang and waved me off the road also .
He got the Mustang for doing 96 in a 45. Luckily he didnt know for sure how fast I was going.
I rolled down my driver side window because i didnt want him to see how dark my windows were. Well, he tricked me and went to the passenger side. Told me he got the mustang for speeding,a nd i was right behind him.
Anyways, to make a long story short, he gave me warnings for speeding over 45, and no front liscence plate. when he came back he had the damn window tint meter. Busted my ***! 6%, so i asked him what was legal, trying to get off. He said 25%. i was like.. ****!
I guess i got off fairly easily for the circumstances. but then again it was my B-day and he might have been feeling a little generous.

So does anyone have a clue as to how much a ticket like that should cost?
thanks.

No front plate ticket runs around $150
Tint runs around $120

You can easily get the front plate dismissed by rigging up a plate...and I would just pay the ticket for tint.

damn reading comprehension.

when i was gonna sell my car last year, i took off my insurance for about 1 week and i got pulled over for no insurance...i went to pay the fine(130) and thought everything was fine. Well, since the new laws passed last september, DPS sent me a letter saying that I owe Texas $260 because I had no insurance...****** sucks. There goes more money down the drain.

well i have limo tint in the ta as well when i get pulled over before i stop, i keep a flathead screw driver where that well is at the bottom of the door roll down the windows and disengage the window switch then pop that piece back on. When they ask me to roll the windows up i tell them the windows dont work. Since the connection is unplugged they dont go up. i think its a good idea but if they ask why id just say well once they go down you have to pull them back up.

I was in the state inspection school 2 years ago they told me 25% will pass inspection but anything below 35% on the front was illegal, im guessing they probably did away with that stupid law, since everybody was fighting it.
