BRICK through WINDSHIELD Well... I went to my buddys house to play some Halo 2... Got there was hangin' out watching my friends play for about 10 minutes when all of a sudden we hear a SMASH... Didn't think much of it at first... But a a few seconds went by and decided to see what it was if anything... Go out there... And someone decided to throw a brick through my windshield.
Really really pissed right now...
Didn't see any cars around or anything. Called the cops and just got a Police Report for Insurance purposes. I'm really down right now... But what can I say or do... Just thought I'd share with everyone.

That really sux!! When ever you get the windshield replaced make sure that it is for a Z06 and not a regular C5 because the Z06 is actually thinner, making it lighter.

What do you guys think would be worst. . . . . getting a brick thrown at your window, OR getting your car keyed?????
Mine was keyed a while back but not have come around to fix it, but now that i think about it, I wouldd much rather want to get a broken window than a keyed car.
The reason i have not not gotten it fixed is because i am scared that if i get it painted the part of the car (drivers side door) will not match to the rest of the paint.

my car has a key mark in the passenger door about 8 inches long. it was there when i got the car but you cant really see because its below the molding (i think)

I actually live in Corpus Christi, TX. We all figured it was just some punk kids driving around doing stupid **** like that. It sucks, I was actually parked in the driveway along with like 4 other vehicles and some one was parked on the side of the street and I guess they just happened to notice my damn car. Another crazy thing is they did this at 10:30 at night.
I dunno the whole situation sucks... Thanks for the support guys and tomorrow I'll make sure they get a Z06 windshield.
I guess this damn $500 dollar a month on Insurance might come in handy for the first time. Just means its prolly going to be even more expensive now...

Yea sorry to hear about that cuz. I think if we would have went out there a few seconds before we did we would have caught them. Hopefully everything will be fixed the right way.
