Yep, in Beaumont there is Lone Star Automotive & Speed on College St. The owners are cool & they build some fast cars and do nice work.

They are nice people at Lone Star, but I wouldn't let them work on my car.

Beaumont again, with 3 F-bodies.

As far as speed shops, Gary Watkins racing in Bevil Oaks (primarily a circle track shop) can and will get you nearly anything you want on surprisingly short notice. Those guys run the silsbee speedway as well.

We all should try to arrange a GTG before it turns cold....

I've had nothing but bad luck with Gary Watson Racing. I ordered a stoker kit for a LT1 though them... gave them the part number to order it by... they ordered the wrong one... twice. Then tried to get me to pay for their mistakes. If it was MY mistake (if I had given them the worng part number) I would have paid for it, but I wasn't gonna pay for their mistake.

If circle track stuff though, they seem to do good work there. Others it always seemed to be hit or miss.
