Default H-town, Killer car show in December

Second Baptist Church in Houston is having an invite-only car show/display December 20-23, 6-9 p.m. It's sort of a "history of sports cars" type thing. At any rate check out the list of cars that will be there. Definitely worth the trip out there to check out some fine autos (it's free to the public, I think).

as promised......

Just a reminder, this show starts tonight and runs through Thursday. It's at Second Baptist at Woodway and Voss (directions). It's in the parking lot, so it should be easy to find. It's free to the public and is outside, so dress appropriately. Also, at some point each night there is a parade of cars, so you'll actually get to see these things fire up and drive around.

I happened to drive by the place last night when they were setting up and got to see some of the cars ----> wow!! I'll be going tonight if anyone wants to meet up (713-376-5359). That is all.

I took my kids to a "Jump5" concert their last Friday. That church is UNBELIEVABLE .
I don't think the car show is an "invite" only thing. It's opened to the entire public.

I think he meant invitation only for the "contestants....the owners of the cars". IOW, not just any Joe Blow can enter.

what he meant to say is that it's free for anyone to come and check out, but to actually enter your car in the show, it's invitation only

Actually I was mistaken on that part too. It's not a car show in the sense that people bring cars to be judged or ranked. All the cars belong to one man. Apparently he has a collection of over 300 cars and this is a small sample of his collection.

It is definitely open to the public, free of charge, to come take a look at the cars. That's the whole point of the show: get people to the church, get some publicity for the church, and give people a chance to see some rare cars in person.

I went last night, very impressive and definitely worth stopping by.

Btw, Ferrari F40 = sex on wheels. what a hot car.
