Its a blast.
I think the place was called Shenanigans or something like that. It's illegal to play in a public place, or anywhere where the house makes money from it. This means if the house gains any extra business from beer sales, food sales. Any income they gain from gambling is considered illegal.
EDIT: here's a link to the story about the bar. I'm still looking for the rules on gambling.

Basically, noone can have an advantage, noone may have any economic benefits other than their winnings or losings, and the risk of winning and losing must be the same.

And what I meant by that was that the owners of these places don't need unwanted publicising of their places, or minors who may have mad parents coming after them when they lose $500 in 2 hours.
