The top choices in my opinion are "Precision Industries" and "TCI's- Streetfighter" series. There is another brand but I cannot remember the name and they don't look like they are a sponsor on this board anymore.

I have a 3000 stall "Vigilante" from Precision Industries and love it.

I have a TCS converter in my Buick. I think Chris Powell also runs/ran one. He could tell you more about them in an LS1 application.
As for mine...It kicks ***. It's a 9x11 billet unit w/ a 3400 stall. These 9x11 converters will spool the big turbos on our Buicks just as fast as the 9.5" units Yank and Precision sells.

the T-Rex cam idles very well, and retains streetability with any stall over 3200.
Under 3200, some cars have problems with the idle dropping and stalling out the car, while others have no problem. I guess that part is in the tuning.

Yank Super Stock 3600 is probably the best all-around converter for LS1 F-bodies. I've run a bunch of different ones and this one was the most well rounded.

game over, learn how to convey your points on the internet. you made it sound like you didn't know if stalls were good with a daily driver then you blab on about how you want the biggest cams for 346's. you maybe need to do some more research on what cam is gonna be best for a daily driver that doesn't have to be revved to 7200. and why do you have a picture of tullis's car in your sig?

and this is where you i make you look stupid again->

My Quote:
"is 3600-3800 good for a daily driver?? Looking to get a t-rex cam on my ls1 but not sure about the torque converter w/ a daily driver"

1. never once did i ask if stalls were okay with a daily driver, i asked if that high of a stall was

2.Never once did i say i wanted "the biggest cam" on an ls1, just stated im looking into getting one...even though it might be the biggest cam, i really dont know

3. Your Quote: "you maybe need to do some more research on what cam is gonna be best for a daily driver that doesn't have to be revved to 7200"- If my car needed a mother I promise youll be the first person i call

4. I have a picture of mctullis's car because i happened to find it on lycos and needed a picture of a silver TA that looked nice to put on my sig.My digital camera is broke. I informed him i used it. dont worry, everything will be fine ok?

i'd prefer a g5x3 for a dialy driver.. trex is a lil wilder.. epsecially for an auto.. i've heard alot of good about the vigilante 3200 stall.. Jruss is using it and has a custom HPE cam similar size to g5x3

ya i heard good htings about the g5x3 i might look into that..my only concern is i dont want to screw up my car and always be taking it to the shop like one of my friends constantly has to do. I also want to run 10s in the future too. I hear two sides to the trex, either they think its good with the ls1 or should only be on bigger blocks...the power really doesn't concern me, i just dont want anything with my car messing up..id like to keep it long lasting if you kno wut i mean...
