Wheel cleaner? Whats the best wheel cleaner to use for weld pro stars? I was told mother's mag and wheel cleaner works well. For the people that have welds, what else besides your wheel cleaner do you use to keep them looking new. These are my daily driver wheels.

Ive had issues in the past where WELDS clear coat oxidize on me leaving spots that wont come off. You can actually use a real fine buffing compound and buff them out by hand, or even a good WAX will work. Brings them back to life w/ that new shine. Dont use a buffer!!
After you polish them really well like with Mothers then take a liquid or paste wax and wax them. That way next time you can wipe them off with a rag and then only polish them every 6 months.

those wheels are always going to get oxidized unless you polish them regularly. Theyre not like bogarts which stay clean for a long time. You can use blue magic, mothers or heavymetalpolish to keep them looking shiney. Ive never heard of using car wax as a shine inhibitor for welds..

Verdad Gallardo waxing doesnt provide any protection, even a sealant like NXT wax wouldnt last long due to the high temp of the surface of the wheel so it really wont do anything, but try it and see if it works. I doubt it will.
I have been using it on my TT2s and a buddy of mine has used it on his boyd cottingtons. It works pretty good dont get me wrong its not going to be like polishing it again but it keeps them clean.
Iv got spots on my Pro Stars from when the lube discout tire put on there to put the tires on splashed on the wheel. Is what you are describeing how to take those off or any suggestions?

Well what happened is I took my car to a local car wash. I specifically told them not to spray anything on the wheels, that I would personally clean them myself. Well I wait for my car and I noticed the guy sprays something blue on one of my wheels, I asked him what it was. He informed me it was windex. Now my wheels dont look as good as they did out of the box. They tried to buff them out and got most of it but not all. I want them to look new again. My camaro is the only camaro in Corpus Christi with pro-stars on it. Chris
