Transmission Conversion Question

I was wanting to have my automatic converted to a six speed. I've heard of converting a standard to automatic but not auto to standard. Can this be done? If so, where would be a good place to check out for install?

We have done 3 of these conversions (A4 to M6) recently and have had nothing but positive feedback about how factory the swap looks and feels.
