Even if Alaska were split in half into two states, it's so big that both of those new states would still be bigger than Texas.

But Alaska doesn't have a whole heck of a lot of people up there, no matter how much land there is - people are a lot more likely to live in Texas than in Alaska

Not bad, not bad...

I moved from Austin to here in Portland... and I like each about the same. Left some really good friends in Austin, but hey... you have to follow work sometimes.

As for College Station... you have WingsNMore, Freebirds, and the Dixie Chicken surrounded by... well.... Aggies
And then you have to return to Fort Worth??? Damn dude... I don't mind alot of Texas... but you don't have alot of room to talk making fun of Portland!

All in good fun... a place is what you make of it.

It was simple enough for a Longhorn to understand?

There are lots of Aggie jokes... but with the Longhorns, it's just too sad to joke about.

Theres nothing wrong with being an Aggie.....(shut up miller and Pip)

but i was born in California, and just saw no point as to going into oregon, you had pretty much everything in cali.....and then you go to oregon and farther north to washington(atleast in washington you have tons of coffee shops and microsoft) but its beautiful in those parts..i just thought cali had more to offer.....except for the price of living......

As for College station......i honestly haven't tried wingsnmore.....but freebirds is not as good as Chipotle IMHO and the Dixie Chicken been there done that...

However Fort Worth is a pretty nice town....pretty diverse, quiet, and if you want to have some fun you can go over to Dallas.....but you have to endure the drivers.

But you are absolutely correct.....a place is what you make it...unless you live in Siberia or Iowa.

Alot of the Aggie jokes are just ripped off Blonde jokes...same with Longhorn jokes....but there are some good ones out there either way.
