Default Finally got an LS1

Well, after a couple years of wanting one really bad, I finally got an LS1. It'a a '00 w/ 61k miles. Bone stock down to the airfilter, 1 owner(50 years old), everything's perfect(or seems like it so far). Picked it up for $10,900. Can't wait for the mods. Got some stuff lined up for the next few weeks. I'm waiting on Eibach's, then I want to get some ZR1's or Z06's(depends on how much money I have), clear corners, LT's and borla/true duals, and a lid.

Let the modding begin

Not a bad start. Borlas are nice but expensive. You could buy a cam, springs & a cutout for that money probably get more HP out of it too. Then just get a QTP & you can be stealthy & quiet too

Very true. Just think about your mods & make sure what you get will go with where you are trying to go with the car so you don't waste money on things you won't be able to use or sell & recoop most of your $$ on later when you change or add mods.

Nice car!
Id say go with a cutout instead of the borla, I got LTs and offroad Y pipe and just put an electric cutout before the axle. I love it, I can drive quietly if there're cops around or open it up and at WOT it is the best sound in the world
good luck with the car!
Kenny

Yea, might just go with a cutout. Gonna get some rims and get this thing lowered this week, and need to find some headers soon as well.
