FS : The Silver Z
I have been off the board for a while trying to get my life back in order after the government decided to try and ruin my livelihood (got the wrong end of two witch hunts, but all is over now - more below). I had no idea all of this had happened to this car. Jeepers! What a monster. I guess when it came down to having to have the fastest car, this is what happened. Chris - please PM me to give me the history of what happened to this car - evidently things are not the same (to say the least). What happened to the old motor? To the 200-4R?I would love to have seen this run, particularly a 1.38 short time. I am half tempted to buy this thing back, but I need something I can run on the street here.
Speaking of, I will be back in force shortly. My life is back in order, and somehow (God? Fate? Luck?) I have ended up with a better job and making more money (by a good bit) than what I was before. It sucked at the end in Texas losing what was a dream job and watching a lot of good/ethical people get ruined. But things change.
BTW, Maryland ain't Texas. It's gorgeous country here, but the state is so politically left and correct that it is creepy. Not many people into cars here also, though there are some (Cecil is not far from here).
I am currently fooling around with the STI I have trying to get a car that will run 11s on all season radials, but it is a temporary thing. I will be getting one of the new Z06s later this year and then talk to the guys at MTI to see if they can figure out what to do with it.

Glad everything is working out up there, man I wish you could see what your old baby looks like now. You would ****!

Cecil is a good (fast) track. I ran there several times during the year I worked in D.C. MIR is also a good facility. You will have fun at either of them.
Glad to hear things are working out for you.
I was wanting to check out the car way back when you were selling it, but never could get in touch with you. Yeah, if it still had the 200-R4... I'd be trying to swing it.
