Default FS : The Silver Z

Well it has come to a point where I need to put this thing up forsale. Its running perfect, compression check is perfect, leak down is perfect. Nitrous system is ready to go. The car is in its best condition. Only thing I am waiting to do is put carpet back in the car. The car is well known around here in Texas by myself and the previous owner. It is currently one of the fastest LS1s in Texas. Here is a little breakdown on the car.

Motor
LME 408ci Motor
-11.5:1 Compression
-Wiseco Pistons
-Lunati Pro-Billet rods
-Lunati Crank
-Hell Fire Rings
-Gas Ported Pistons
-Lunati Solid Lifters
-Solid Roller Cam (Custom LSM Specific)
MTI Stage 3 Heads
-Brand new Ferrera Valves
-New Valve Job
-Flow 331 @ .600" of lift
LSx Intake
-Direct Port done by ICON Autosports

Exhaust
Kooks Stainless Steel 1 7/8" to 2" with a 3.5" Collector
-Have dyno time and 10 passes on them
Mike Pabone Custom Y-Pipe
-Hellz Yeah!
Magnaflow Race Bullet Muffler

Transmission
Mike Hall Transmission Powerglide
-Pro Tree Transbrake
-Turbo input shaft
Neal Chance Converter
-BIG!

Rearend
KTRE 12 Bolt
-Moser Spool
-Moser 3.73 Gear
-Moser T/A Cover
-Big Axles
-5/8" Wheel studds

Suspension
-BMR Fully Adjustable Race Control Arms
-BMR Tubular K-Member
-BMR Tubular A-arms
-BMR Extreme Duty Torque Arm
-HAL Adjustable Shocks all the way around
-Wolfe Single Anti-Roll Bar
-Suspension done by Richard Pitree of Cage-N-Motorsports and ICON Autosports

Nitrous
NX Pro Shark Fogger Kit
-4 solenoids
-Pirahanna Nozzles
Fuel System
-1 Gallon Jazz Cell
-New Holley Blue Pump and Regulator
-Return Hose, to bleed out air
-Setup up by ICON Autosports and Richard Pitree of Cage-N-Motorsports

Chassis
Car Itself
-40,004 miles
-No wrecks
-Sebring Silver Paint
-All stock body components
Cage
-10pt Rollcage built by Kevin Bickerstaff at Westside Hotrods
-Gussets already there so cage can be upgraded
Wheels
-Weld Pro Stars
-28x10.5W tires on the back that tuck

I've had the car over a year and a half now. It has gone from running a 10.7 @ ~125mph on motor to a 9.5 @ 120, letting off at the 1/8th mile. This car is a bad SOB. If I were not having problems with funding to keep racing I would not be selling the car. I am going to take it out one more time and click off some 8sec passes. Maybe taking the record for the fastest LS1 in Texas

I am looking to get $27,500 for the car and the trailer. The trailer will have new tires on it.

Here are some pictures before I put the full cage in the car

Here is a quick video of the car at HMP. The car ran a 5.8 @ 121mph with a 1.38 60ft on a 350 shot, on a progressive. So as you can see.. she has ALOT left in her.

I have come across another deal to build another car.... heh heh. I love this car, but this would be alot easier for me to build off of and my dad is really interested in this car. My email is chris@markiiisys.com or you can call me 832-620-2142.

Jet, you are right. This car is not for everyone. He will have to find the right buyer and someone who is looking for something like this in particular. Jet, until you build a car of this caliber, you really don't know how much it takes and is invested to get it to where it is. You really can't compare Jeff's car to this one. Chris has bought the best of every part available for this car. No expense was spared. Just compare the engines, rollcages, and transmission/convertors. That alone is a $10K + difference. Chris' car is about a second faster in the 1/4. You can't even put a $ sign on that. It takes alot to go from low 10's to low 9's. I'm not knocking Jeff's car at all as it was a monster for such a small motor that it had. All I am saying is that if he got over $20K for his and Nine Ball got something like $28K? for his formula, this thing is a steal. I will vouch for it ANYTIME.

The right buyer who is smart about these cars will realize what this thing is all about.

I think it's a good price. Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is probably over $30K in mods easily. Add in labor, and a nice car...

Jeff, first of all calm down. Realize that I said I was not knocking your car. Everyone knows that I have NUMEROUS hours of labor in your car and your brothers' car and as far as his car being faster than Powell's car has yet to be proven and has nothing to do with what Chris is trying to do here. There is another thread for that. Jeff, I never said a full second, I said about. Go back and read it.

This will be my last post here and the above should also be yours. If you want to talk about it more you know how to get in touch with me. All I am trying to do is help a friend and customer sell a car so we can start on the next project

Powell's car is a monster and all I said in my previous post was "Good luck on the sale" that's it... I never took anything wrong Mike...
