Default I have a question?

I have a question. A friend of mine has a 98-99 Fbody, its a Z28. He recently bought Eibach prokit springs, kyb agx. shocks and struts, bmr lower control arms, bmr adj. panhard rod. After everything was said and done the car is leaning to one side. And you can notice this beacause of the gaps from the tires to the fender wall. All of them are even accept the right rear. As a matter of a fact the left side just sits higher. I mean there all even accept for the right side. The front right is a little lower but, it is the right rear that is really dramatic. So the rear end of the car looks like it is leaning to the right.
We thought it might have been frame damage. The only prior damage to the car was a small accident it was not even a collision. It was not even on that side of the car. And like i said it was nothing major. So my question is why is this car leaning to one side?(the right rear) Any suggestions please help.

How are the spring pigtails oriented in the rear? If they are facing different directions, this may cause the problem you are having.

Maybe the spring bumber/spacer (top of spring) on the right rear is not on. That would make it about 1" lower.

Thanks for the help! Please keep the replys coming. We'll check the pig tails of the spring. What do your mean that the pro kit is notorious for that? So then another question is then the problem has to be something with the suspension? Like springs, shocks etc... It has nothing to do with frame or uni body damage?

most likely you left a spring spacer out on that side (isolator pad), or you have the pigtails turned in different locations.

So where would you go to get a spring spacer (isolator pad)? Is it a stock part?

Yes it is a stock part, you can pick up one from a GM parts counter. But first make sure you are missing one first before you buy one.

Jack your car up and look at the top of the rear springs to see if there is one on each side. It's just a big rubber grommet the same size as the springs, you can't miss it.

Peace,
Craig.

um well...one time I was changing rearend's out and on the swaybar where it bolts to the rearend... For one reason or another when it was tightend back up it wasnt seated correctly (rotated too far back) putting the swaybar in a bind. This caused a similar problem to what you described. The car didnt sit quite right...and would handle GREAT to the right...not worth a **** to the left ...Only took a couple of mins to figure out, and kinda felt dumb when I seen it, but **** like that happens using impacts. Dont know if this helps you out or not, but like I said it did create a problem similar to what you described.
