Default TAMSCC Auto-X #2

Texas A&M Sports Car Club Spring 2005 Autocross #2

Come out to our semester's second autocross. The course will be designed by Bryan Knight and myself. Be sure to show up early! There will be late fees for those who do not make it to registration on time (and you get to deal with an angry Benton). We recently bought some more tables and a new tent for registration so things should move along better. Hopefully the weather will hold out for this weekend!

When: Sunday, February 20th
Registration: 0800 - 0930
Tech: 0900 - 1015
Driver's Meeting: 1015
Cost: $10 for members and $15 for non-members

Pre-Registration:
http://www.dlbracing.com/Clubs/tamscc/

Pre-registration will close on Saturday at midnight.

I wonder how many old timers are still with the club. I was a member from 1995-1997.

Oskar,

I used to be a very active member but have been swamped with work and the business but I'd love to get back out there. I remember you as being ultra fast with your LS1 at the track when these cars were still new and no one could belive the numbers you were running!

Autocrossing is so much fun I wish more of the LS1tech guys would do it since once they did they'd be hooked!

My 98 was fast stock, but it was a stripper and really light. The one I got now is not that quick, but it has all the nice options

I was trying to get into some AutoX action, but i just don't want to put the stress and wear and tear on my car. I was a/b to buy an integra that was built to be a AutoX car. but the deal fell through....so i've been thinking a/b buying a donor import for the task.

But Auto X is a blast!!!!

Oskar,

Still a lot of the old TAMSCC crowd autocrossing down there and elsewhere.

About 10 of us are up in Dallas and are still actively racing. Never as much as I want, of course...
