Talking So im getting closer to the 11's

Few weekends ago myself and a few other lightning owners made the treck to hallsville (3 1/2 hours from arlington)

Previous best out there was a 12.8x (lost the time slip)

But with just slapping on some traction bars i manage to beat out a 12.53

r/t .396
60' 1.833 <- needs improvement best is in the 1.6 range with worn out autocross slicks
1/8 8.01
mph 87.19
1/4 12.53
mph 105.29

I figure i can do better given I was pegging out my 80mm maf. I just swaped to a 90mm maf and a weakass tune . This summer i plan on porting the stock blower, and upgrade from the chip to a full programer with up to 4 tunes. Ill spend the $$ on getting the race tunes dyno tuned but the street tunes im not to worried about.

Block has 98k miles on it. Hope to get that 11.xx run on it before she pukes on me

Yea, truck is running good. The tranny dosent look good. Its got a hiccup on the 1-2 shift. I think its my valve body. Got a new one on the way(Freebie!), so this weekend its plug change, pulling the supercharger to clean the intercooler, and tranny fun.

1999 Lightning 98k miles
Stock blower, stock block, stock tranny except a valve body.

6lb lower
100mm idlers
Phenolic Spacer
FTVB- Factory Tech Valve Body- Firmer shifts
Airraid Intake
Full exhaust that has leaks- Bassani shortie headers, highflow cats, x-pipe with dyno max race bullet mufflers.
Superchip tuned by PR
Lakewood T-bars
Stock 3.55s in the rear
Running on some old m/t streets.
104 race gas
think thats it.

Also have the fuel pressure gauge that isnt hooked up and water temp gauge with broken sending unit that adds a few HP lol

future mods are a interchangeable upper pulley and porting the stock blower. That is if my block and tranny last.

So if anyone knows of a good 5.4 block laying around im kind of interested.
