Aaron. Honey, they are ignoring you. Its not the headphones, they just don't like you.

Ha ha! Im playing with ya. I wanted mine for the gym originally. My Sony doesn't get good reception at times.

BTW- when are you going to be back for a visit?

FM transmitter produces very average sound quality, and depending where you are in the city it sometimes wont get a signal even worth listening to. I have the Belkin tunecast II, which is a little bit better than than itrip, but still not perfect. If you have an aftermarket headunit, you can get an aux. and just plug it right in..thats the way to go.

p.s.- Dell DJ > iPod

It shouldn't matter to you much, you can't hear anyway.

Nahhhh.. And I don't even own an Ipod. The 4th gen Ipods are near perfect.

If it weren't for my obsesive/compulsive piracy and desire for tech features I woulda gotten it.

Instead, I opted for the Iriver IHP 120.

It is the same small size as the Ipod, same price, but has TONS more features.

I work at best buy, copperfield, in the cell phone/mp3 department. Ipods are crap. At least 2 a day get returned for battery problems, freezing...so on. The shuffle sells well, good product. The best seems to be the creative zen, and the Iriver h series. Awesome product and does more than the ipod. Ipod has a built in battery that is not interchangable. Once it goes out, your S.O.L. Ipods are cool when they work, but over all.....put together like a ford

Man I miss working at Best Buy. I'm supprised I never got fired for hooking people up. I bought the same TV 3 times in one holiday season. And none of them ended up at my house. Good times...

If the battery on the IPOD dies it really isn't that hard to replace if you are slighltly tech savyy or have a friend that is ...

http://www.ipodbattery.com/

I have heard about the battery problems, but my 3rd gen Ipod still plays 4-6 hours on a charge w/o a problem after almost 2 years of ownership.

So I wouldn't worry too much about it. And I think in the last 2 years the darn thing has froze up like 3 times on me ... so that's not a big deal either.

Overall I am very happy with my pod, I use the little CD cassette thing in my Mustang (since it has a CD player and a tape deck) and it sounds great. Not enough bass, but that's the MP3s fault.

boobka,

Can you buy those HP tattoo skins somewhere here locally or only online? I have looked everywhere and can't find them. Im going to do one with the SS logo on it.

I did some research on the iPod before I bought it and you can replace the battery. As far as problems locking up does occasionally happen. The counter for the storage on them some times isn't very accurate. I can live with all of these things.
