i'd really like to know what happened as well. i've seriously contemplated replaced the k-member in my car with the spohn unit, i've seen too much bmr crap break lately. mine is a dd that sees a little more than 75/wk.

got any pics of it.... my buddy bought one off a GP not too long ago.... kind of scary hearing that an aftermarket k-member has not lasted too long....

Well I'm not sure how it broke?I drive the car on the street and not very often.I have never hit a major pot holes or curbs????It broke wright where the lower control arm box is on the lt side.I have pictures but do not know how to post them.It could have been a major BAD deal if it broke going down the street @ 150.I only found it when i was changing the oil and stumbled across it...I'm alittle pissed because BMR said "send it back and we will look at it".Well they are not paying shipping , and this is my daily driver. But on the good side i cought it before i DIED!I will let you know if they replace it or not..Oh ya they said they have not had but one or two break??

I would post this up in the handling and braking section to see how it turned out with others that have had the same problem

that is odd when i had an LS1 i had BMR stuff and was always happy with it. top notch. the only thing i can think of is that they have gotten bigger and quality control has started to suffer.

oh one other thing did you get the chrome moly or the mild steel.

BMR gave him a new one after his broke after more than a year of use. GOOD LUCK and glad to hear that you are OK.
