Loudmouth for vette?
Loudmouth for vette? How do these sound? If its like what a f-fody sounds like then my cousion wants to pick one up. Anyone have any soundclips or expierence with a vette with loudmouth. Also, what do these cost?

Best sounding exhaust on the street. Dont be like alot of corvette owners and have it quiet. Its a Vette... a Legend... make it sound like one!

Dude, if you want loud,just get two electic cutouts installed in front of the cats.I am telling you,loudmouth on a vette does not sound right.It is ,however, loud.But it sounds morre like a boat at idle....I dunno,ask mike from Gforce,he heard my car.

I agree with the stingers!!! I had them on my last Corvette. I have had all types of different catbacks on various C5's also, corsa, loudmouth, borla stinger, borla XR1, flowmaster, etc.... My favorite is the borla stinger. Not as loud as people tell you, but the loudmouth is annoying on long trips. DEFINITELY get a magnaflow x-pipe with whatever catback you purchase. It will get rid of the popping and also the motor boat sound.

Verdad Gallardo get one used, I sold a set of loudmouth for the C5 for $250 shipped. They usually go for cheaper used. That was the old version tips though. I just read your post again. It will sound better than the f-body as long as you get the x-pipe. They are still annoying for long trips in my opinion.... There seems to be a lot of resonation with it.. In a vette it is basically right behind you.. I would get the stingers over the loudmouth. If he wants it loud, nothing really louder than the loudmouth or borla's straight pipes..

its very loud and it shakes your brain when you are at 2000 rpm if you ever get headers and remove the cats its really loud ......buy one used if you dont like it resell it for the same price....i see them on the corvette forum all the time..

loudmouth sounds like **** IMO
not a huge fan of the Corsa either
go with the Borla Stinger or GHL Magnum if you like throaty or B&B PRT if you like more exotic
if you want it pretty damn loud and throaty, get the B&B Bullet
