What part of Tx are you looking for?

http://www.houstonjobs.com/
http://www.chron.com/class/index.html

And the obvious sites like monster.com
Most of the major cities newspapers list the classifieds online for free, good place to look once you decide which part of Tx you want to live.

With your background, you might want to check out oil field service related jobs around Houston. Companies like FMC, Drillquip and Cameron are usually looking for good machinest and other skilled trades. Coming from outside Detroit, I can tell you that the cost of living around Houston is dirt cheap and there is no state income tax.

Go apply at Dril-Quip, we are really busy right now. I don't have any real connections but they might need people in the shop. We have at least a couple years of back log work going & another big project in the works. www.dril-quip.com

Good luck.
