buying a cobra

Ok guys I love G.M. and always will but I am buying an 03 Cobra. This car has got some serious ***** for a daily driver. The Cobra only has 6,600 miles on it and they gave me a good deal on it pluse they gave me 11,500 for my 1999 TA with 67,000 miles on it. I'm gonna take it to HPE to see if anything is wrong with it before I actually buy it. Does anyone here know who the previous owner of the the black 2003 Cobra for sale at Joe Myers Ford? It's a long shot but just thought I would give it a try and see if anyone knew.

Sweet man, I almost bought a redfire 03 Cobra but I got the Z06

Besure to mod it... It wont take all that much.

It already has some mods. One of the mods being N20. That's why I'm gonna get it checked out before I buy it. Seems to be a strong car, throws you back into the seat pretty hard.

Cool... Does that mean it is already pullied and has all the other bolt ons? Nitrous is usually one of the last things you do to a 03 Cobra before getting a after market supercharger...

Hmm, I wouldn't touch a used car that has nitrous on it unless I installed the kit and knew the owner well. Nitrous definitely shortens the life expectancy of the engine and drivetrain.

Good trade-in value on your 99 TA though!

We will se tomorrow. Remember the car only has 6,600 mile on it. If somethong is messed up on it all I have to do is return it and say no thanks. I love the way it looks and sound exept for a minor exhaust leak. Plus it handles so damn good.
